Norse Mythology Retold in Full

You love the Norse myths, but most retellings end just as they get good. You get a few quick tales and a crowd of names, and Ragnarok is over in a page.

Press play and the story starts in the middle of the action, in the roaring gap between fire and ice, where the giant Ymir falls and the gods build the world from his body. One connected saga then carries you through Odin's hunt for wisdom and Loki's slow slide from trickster to enemy. Thor, Freya, Frigg and Baldr appear as proud, funny and doomed people who argue and plot in real scenes with spoken dialogue. The cast stays small and short recaps keep you oriented, while a warm narrator pronounces every name correctly.

By the end you will know the whole Norse cycle, from the first spark of creation to the green world that rises after the last battle. Press play and let the saga begin.
