More William

More William is an assortment of children's short stories by Richmal Crompton, following his book Just William. William is an eleven-year-old schoolboy, forever scruffy and grimacing. He and his friends Ginger, Henry and Douglas, call themselves the Outlaws. The Outlaws are rivals of the Hubert Lane-ites, with whom they regularly clash. Ginger is almost as windswept, reckless and gritty as William himself. Henry brings an air of wisdom and thoughtfulness to the team. Douglas is the best of them at spelling, albeit in an interesting individual manner. Welcome to the adventure and resourceful ways of William and his Outlaws!
