When Kay Lansing¿s engagement to wealthy widower Peter Carrington is announced, one of the New York City tabloids runs a headline, over a photograph of her holding a gardening trowel: Sitting on Top of the World. Well, and why not? Kay is twenty-eight years old, attractive, smart and a gifted young Westchester landscape and garden consultant.
