Ace on the run

HE'S A GHOST IN THE SHADOWS. SHE'S A JOURNALIST BENT ON THE TRUTH.

Scott Thompson is a lie. To the world, he's just a motorcycle mechanic who likes his solitude. But three years ago, he was "Ace"—a psychic operative in the CIA's most elite, top-secret program. He walked away from the blood and the betrayal, and now he has one rule: Never use the gift. If he acts on his premonitions, the enemies who murdered his mentor will find him.

Phoebe Chadwick is one "big story" away from losing her career. When a mysterious, brooding biker saves her from a disaster she didn't see coming, her reporter's instinct screams that there's more to Scott than grease and leather. He's a hero, even if he refuses to admit it.

Scott knows letting Phoebe get close is a death sentence for them both. The chemistry between them is explosive, but as his visions grow darker and the conspiracy closes in, he has to make a choice:

Keep his secret and let innocents die—or risk everything to save the woman who's finally found a way into his heart.
